Stakely in 2025: a summary of products, improvements, and contributions to the ecosystem

December 23, 2025

2025 has come to an end, and with it, we’d like to share a summary of everything we’ve built throughout the year: product improvements, new partners, infrastructure developments, and much more.

This recap only covers a part of Stakely’s highlights, as the ongoing work to maintain a secure, stable, and sustainable infrastructure goes far beyond a single summary.

New products

Simple CSM: a service that allows you to deploy Ethereum validators with the benefits of Lido CSM without needing technical knowledge. It offers a simple, secure, and accessible solution for ETH stakers.

To celebrate the launch, we activated an exclusive competition on Zealy, where three winners received $50 in ETH and a discount to use Simple CSM.

Consolideth: an open-source tool that simplifies the consolidation of Ethereum validators after Pectra. It allows you to merge multiple validators into one (up to 2048 ETH), update withdrawal credentials, and manage all your validators easily and securely in just a few clicks.

WalTransfer, a decentralized alternative to WeTransfer. A free tool that enables private file sharing without centralized servers, developed by Stakely and powered by Walrus, a decentralized storage protocol built on Sui.

Nodes-as-a-Service: deploy RPC nodes and validators across 30+ blockchains with high availability — no long syncs or unexpected downtimes. Get credentials within hours to scale your Web3 infrastructure or validate and earn rewards.

New functionalities and infrastructure improvements

New StakeWise Boost feature on Stakely: this new feature allows you to multiply your Ethereum staking rewards by up to six times, offering a more profitable and secure staking experience through the Stakely Vault.

We increased the gas limit of our Ethereum validators to 36M: this allows us to process more transactions per block, improve user experience, reduce costs, and boost network scalability.

We migrated our Ethereum infrastructure from MEV-Boost to Commit-Boost: this upgrade enables more efficient relay management, real-time metric monitoring, min-bid policy implementation, and better preparation for future Ethereum features—strengthening both validator operations and network infrastructure.

We integrated Obol’s distributed validators into the Lido Curated Module: deploying intra-operator distributed validator technology to increase fault tolerance, eliminate single points of failure, and reinforce our Ethereum node infrastructure.

We adopted SSV as the DVT stack for StakeWise: integrating Distributed Validator Technology through SSV Network strengthens validator security, fault tolerance, and key management in Ethereum — offering a more secure and decentralized staking infrastructure.

New interface at app.stakely.io: we unified access to tools, services, and products into a more intuitive design to give you full control over your tools.

New networks and major updates

✅ We joined new validation sets, currently operating as a validator in 9 new networks, including:

  • Union: native interoperability between ecosystems.
  • Algorand: solving the scalability, security, and decentralization trilemma.
  • Story Protocol: a L1 for programmable IPs in the AI era.
  • Walrus: decentralized storage for large-scale data.
  • Torram: native Bitcoin finance.
  • Aztec: programmable privacy on Ethereum via zkRollups.
  • Monad**: high-performance L1 compatible with EVM.
  • Avail: scalable and modular data availability.

❌ We also shut down 9 nodes this year. Here are the reasons:

  • Evmos and Juno: shutdown after internal evaluation.
  • Quasar: the network shut down on May 9 following the approval of proposal #49.
  • KILT: after the migration period ended, we concluded our participation.
  • LTO Network: completed the migration to EQTY on Base, so our participation ended.
  • Agoric: after proposal #109, the validator set was reduced to 30 and we were excluded.
  • Injective: no longer in the active set due to external changes from the foundation.
  • Stride: the validator set was reduced to 7 and we were removed. However, we remain involved as a Governor, voting on behalf of those who delegate STRD to us.
  • Initia: following proposal #60, the validator set was reduced and Stakely was excluded.

Other updates across our networks

  • We operate on the Symbiotic mainnet, boosting security, decentralization, and efficiency in custom network (re)staking.
  • We run a full node on Unichain to improve scalability, data availability, and connectivity on Ethereum’s second layer.

Improvements in Multicoin Faucet and Web3 Load Balancer services

We continue to improve our Multicoin Faucet so you can cover all fees with no friction, adding support for:

  • Sonic (S)
  • Starknet (STRK)
  • Walrus (WAL)
  • Hyperliquid (HYPE)
  • Ethereum Hoodi testnet (ETH)
  • Union (UNION)
  • Somnia (SOM)
  • Monad (MON)
  • Story (IP)
  • Avail (AVAIL)
  • Avalanche (AVAX)
  • BNB Chain (BNB)
  • Aleo (ALEO)
  • Pharos (PHRS)

And to help you keep building without interruptions, we’ve integrated the following networks into Web3 Load Balancer:

  • Hyperliquid (HYPE)
  • Celo (CELO)
  • Sonic (S)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Union (UNION)
  • Somnia (SOM)
  • Story (IP)

Security and compliance improvements

We renewed our ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications: for the second year in a row, we’ve strengthened our commitment to information security, risk management, and technical and operational controls — further building your trust as we improve our standards in line with the evolving blockchain ecosystem.

Sponsorships at Web3 events

Silver Sponsor of Merge Buenos Aires 2025 and Merge Madrid 2025: during the second summit, we organized a side event called “Warm-Up by Stakely,” which brought together over 120 participants from the tech, finance, and Web3 ecosystems for networking and meaningful discussions. We also gave away a ticket, allowing the winner to attend MERGE Madrid and meet us.

Silver Sponsor of Staking Summit Dubai 2025: an international event where ecosystem leaders discussed the future of DeFi and upcoming innovations in staking.

We sponsored CryptoDays x La Vida Crypto: an educational and networking event held in Madrid, which included the live recording of episode 150 of the La Vida Crypto podcast, where Paco Ducha, Head of Node Operations at Stakely, discussed staking and the future of Web3.

We also participated in some of the ecosystem’s most relevant events, including:

  • EthCC[8] in Cannes, the most important Ethereum and Web3 event in Europe
  • Solana Breakpoint in the UAE, a global gathering for Solana ecosystem founders and developers
  • European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona, a key European event for institutional and enterprise blockchain adoption
  • Devconnect Argentina, technical and community gatherings focused on Ethereum ecosystem development and innovation
  • The Cryptocurrency Industry: Diverse Perspectives on Opportunities and Risks in Madrid, a debate space on blockchain opportunities, risks, security, and regulation, featuring Paco Ducha
  • Blockchain Security: Fundamentals, Mechanisms, and Challenges, an educational session with Paco Ducha

Contributions to the ecosystem

  • We participated as node operators in the Hoodi genesis, the new Ethereum testnet.
  • We donated 1.7 ETH to Ethereum R1, a public, transparent, and Ethereum-aligned rollup. The initiative did not continue, and the donation was returned.
  • We activated the OmniFlix Media Node ready for leasing: this initiative promotes content decentralization, enabling new monetization and community collaboration opportunities in the OmniFlix ecosystem.
  • We helped Injective’s Spanish-speaking community by translating its website, Explorer, and Injective Hub app — removing language barriers and strengthening participation in the network.
  • We’ve created over 300 educational materials this year, including ecosystem reports, digital content, blogs, and video tutorials in both English and Spanish. This doesn’t even count the ongoing support in community chats and constant assistance across ecosystems.

⭐ Thanks to these and many more contributions to decentralization and protocol evolution, Stakely has been recognized in the Extra Effort Tier of Lido — placing us among the top five standout validators, reinforcing our commitment and securing better incentives as part of the Lido Curated Module.

Finally, we can’t close out 2025 without mentioning the Reth incident on Ethereum. On September 2, 2025, a critical bug took most Reth clients on mainnet offline. Stakely mitigated the impact thanks to a diversified setup using Reth, Nethermind, and Geth — reinforcing the importance of client diversity for resilient staking infrastructure.

With that, we close our 2025 recap by thanking the ecosystems for their trust and, as always, our community. We remain committed to transparency and sustainability in every network we support. 💙
