Stakely renews ISO/IEC 27001 certification in 2025 for the second consecutive year

October 30, 2025

At Stakely, security isn’t just a requirement—it’s the foundation of everything we do. That’s why today we’re announcing the renewal of our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, issued by auditing firm Prescient Security for the second year in a row. With this renewal, we demonstrate that our information protection, risk management, and technical and organizational controls continue to evolve in step with the business and the blockchain ecosystem.

What is the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification?

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the international standard that defines the requirements for implementing, maintaining, and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). In other words, it’s a way to prove that an organization properly manages the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its clients’ information.

During the audit process, Prescient Security reviewed our internal policies, procedures, and controls, verifying that all our processes meet the highest levels of security required by the standard.

Key improvements 2024–2025

Renewal doesn’t mean doing the same thing—it means raising the bar. During the last cycle, we implemented several key improvements, including:

  • Increased automation of controls and logging.
  • Enhanced access security through advanced controls.
  • Expanded environment segmentation and active infrastructure monitoring.
  • Execution of incident response drills and business continuity exercises.
  • Greater emphasis on team training focused on cybersecurity.

Our ISMS continues to evolve to stay ahead of emerging risks.

Why is this important for Stakely?

Trust is everything. We know choosing a validator isn’t easy—you need to be sure you’re working with a secure, transparent, and reliable operator. The renewal of ISO/IEC 27001:2022, along with our recently approved SOC 2 Type II audit, represents a rare dual compliance in the blockchain ecosystem.

For delegators and institutional clients, renewing ISO/IEC 27001:2022 ensures:

  • Availability of validation infrastructure.
  • Protection of sensitive service-related information.
  • Preventive controls and response capabilities.
  • Operational oversight and quality in service management.
