With direct nomination, you choose up to 16 validators and delegate your stake to them. With nomination pools, your stake is combined with others to increase the chances of earning rewards. Pools are ideal for users with smaller amounts of AVAIL.

Yes, staking AVAIL carries a risk of slashing if the validators misbehave or go offline. However, Stakely minimizes this risk through a secure infrastructure, strict validator monitoring, and a staking insurance system that protects users against potential slashing events.

You can stake using the official Avail staking dashboard, the Avail Apps explorer, or third-party staking UIs. Always make sure you're connected to the correct network.

Rewards are distributed at the end of each era, once per day.

The Stakely validator on Avail has a commission of 20%. This commission is applied to the staking rewards, not to your staked principal. In practice, this means the commission is taken from the APR, not subtracted from it.

For example, if the network APR is 10% and the validator commission is 5%, the commission represents 5% of the rewards earned, which equals an effective reduction of 0.5% APR. Your final APR would be 9.5%, not 5%.
