Stakely among the five validators selected for Lido’s Extra Effort Tier

We’re excited to share that Stakely has been included among the five validators selected for the Extra Effort Tier of the Curated Module of Lido—a significant milestone and a vote of confidence from both the Ethereum and Lido communities in the work we do every day.
The new tier system aims to adjust commissions based on each operator’s level of involvement, spotlighting contributions that strengthen decentralization and support the protocol’s evolution. At the same time, it better aligns incentives between operators and the Lido DAO, ensuring that additional efforts and technical responsibilities are reflected in the commission structure.
The new commission scheme of Lido’s Curated Module
Lido DAO will update the commission structure of the Curated Module to ensure the protocol’s sustainability and reinforce its ability to support new technical and research initiatives. This model not only recognizes the work already being done today but also creates an incentive framework that encourages operators to keep contributing to the ecosystem in the long term.
The new scheme introduces three categories reflecting different levels of technical, operational, and infrastructure contributions:
- Standard Tier: base commission of 3.50% on staking rewards, applied to most node operators.
- Extra Effort Tier: base commission of 4% on staking rewards. Includes operators like Stakely who provide additional services or carry out tasks that require manual operations.
- Client-Team Tier: base commission of 4.50% on staking rewards, aimed at teams that actively develop and maintain client software.
Our contribution: building, educating, and sharing
Within the Extra Effort Tier, Lido has recognized both our technical work and public contributions to the ecosystem. Some of the initiatives we’ve carried out include:
- Participation as genesis validators in Holesky and Hoodi, contributing to the stability of Ethereum testnets.
- Work on Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS), with contributions to the Commit-Boost client and collaboration with MEV ecosystem teams.
- Early adoption of DVT technologies such as SSV and Obol, advancing infrastructure resilience and diversity.
- Development of open tools like ConsolidETH, listed on Ethereum’s official website, and Obol Portal, the first app to deploy DVT validators without a liquid staking layer.
- Active participation in Lido V3, testing Safe Stake, SDVT, and Bolt, as well as tools like Lido Withdrawals Automation.
- Educational activities: creating content and participating in events to make staking more accessible to new communities.
A shared milestone
We want to emphasize that this achievement isn’t ours alone. We deeply value the work of the other validators, whose efforts are vital to the future of Ethereum and Lido itself. The progress of the ecosystem is only possible thanks to the collective effort and dedication of all the teams involved.
To Lido, our collaborators, and those who delegate with trust in our work: thank you for the recognition and for motivating us to keep improving. We’ll continue building, learning, and contributing—now with even greater responsibility—to help Ethereum and Lido grow hand in hand.
Thank you, truly!
