Ethereum
Reth Incident: On September 2 at 02:20 UTC, a critical bug in Reth caused most Ethereum nodes to crash, but Stakely remained operational thanks to a multi-client architecture using Reth, Nethermind, and Geth, which took over automatically.
Ethereum announces a “tentative” date for the Fusaka upgrade: December 3, 2025. Holešky testnet will be shut down after this. A $2M audit contest on Sherlock has also been launched — find Fusaka vulnerabilities over four weeks and get rewarded.
