Stakely Monthly Review | January Edition
We want to start this year 2022 by launching a new monthly section, where we will share with all of you any progress and news regarding Stakely and our staking projects.
Stakely News
In just one month, we increased our community to 5000 delegators who are actually staking their assets with us, and we have reached 7500 followers on Twitter. Thank you all so much for helping us grow our community!
Taking into account this increase in users, we have decided to launch our new Stakely Spanish chat on Telegram. So now, in addition to supporting users from all over the world in our international chat, we can also offer support to our users from LATAM and Spain.
Finally, we have added three new networks to our faucet, where you can easily request tokens to pay the fees for each network in case you run out:
Networks Updates
Continuing with our summary of January 2022, we give you some context on the latest news in the different networks for which Stakely collaborates.
Lido
To start the year, Stakely officially joined Lido's set of Ethereum validators. If you are interested in ETH staking, feel free to choose us as validators, you will find us by searching for 0x77d2CF58aa4da90b3AFCd283646568e4383193BF.
We will soon be launching an Ethereum staking guide to make the process easier for anyone interested!
Gnosis Beacon Chain
We deployed a total of 100 validators for the blockchain formerly known as xDai, which was renamed Gnosis Beacon Chain.
Marlin
Marlin decided to migrate from the Ethereum to Arbitrum to encourage participation in its network. Now, Marlin's ecosystem tokens, POND and MPOND, have been migrated to Arbitrum. This move will allow users to continue to benefit from the security of the Ethereum network without having to pay its high fees. At Stakely, we have successfully completed the migration.
Celo
We are pleased to announce that this month we become part of the official Celo validator set. You can now delegate your CELO tokens with us and request CELO tokens in our faucet if you need them to confirm transactions. If you would like to know how to stake Celo, feel free to check out our video tutorial on Youtube and let us know in the comments what you thought.
Finally, Celo also brings us news about the new event they are preparing in Spain, Celo Connect Barcelona, which will take place on 4th and 5th April.
Kusama
As for Kusama, the networks that have recently won the parachains slot auctions to become Kusama's new parachains are:
- Robonomics
- Integritee
- Encointer
- Darwinia
- Litmus
Crypto.com
Crypto.com is continuing its massive climb towards becoming a giant in the crypto market. In recent days, it has partnered with the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF) to support Web3-focused educational and career development opportunities. Major sporting partnerships with Crypto.com have been joined by the Adelaide Crows and the AFL. In addition, to mark the Lunar New Year of the Tiger, they have created a series of NFTs that users who send a minimum number of eRed packets will receive. Their fiat USD wallet already supports direct deposits in advance to US users. We recommend you to take a look at their Product News page to keep up to date with all their news.
Here you have the new pairs available on the Crypto.com exchange:
Avalanche
Avalanche has announced the dates for its next event in Barcelona, the Avalanche Summit, 22-27th March. This is a conference for Web3 developers, researchers and creators.
Avalanche native DEX, Pangolin, joins the Avalanche Rush incentivized programme. With a total of $2 million in rewards for the UST-AVAX and UST-USDC Super Farms, they are set to incentivise the adoption of the project.
Secret Network
We have enabled the Secret Network faucet in our Multicoin Faucet so that users new to the Secret Network can request the right amount of tokens to pay for transactions. You can find it both on our website and on the official Secret Network channel on Discord.
Also, we launched our how to stake Secret Network video tutorial for you to learn how to start staking and earning SCRT passively from your investments.
Juno
This month we have enabled the Juno faucet, which you can find promoted by the official Juno Network Twitter.
One of the biggest events this month was the launch of Junoswap, the first decentralized exchange connecting different blockchains built on top of the Juno Network. Two weeks after its launch, it has reached $10,300,000 TVL.
Cosmos
Among the new features coming from the Cosmos network this month is a new bridge that will allow assets to be transferred from Harmony to Cosmos and vice versa, for those networks that are IBC-enabled. Harmony and Cosmos have joined forces to award a grant to Datachain to carry out this project.
Secondly, we have the Liquid Staking module that Cosmos is working on. As part of a very ambitious project, Cosmos is working on bringing liquid staking to the Cosmos ecosystem, which will allow users to get the most out of their staking assets.
To find out how to staking Cosmos Network (ATOM), check out our tutorial on Youtube or our Cosmos staking guide.
Desmos
Last December, Desmos announced a massive airdrop that has delivered 5.5M DSM to date. If you still don't know how to claim the DSM airdrop, you can do so now by following the team's instructions.
In addition, Desmos has joined the IBC Gang! As a result of the votes on Desmos proposal #8, IBC transactions have finally been enabled for Desmos Network.
Near Protocol
Stake farming made its arrival at Near Protocol. With the Aurora update, NEAR has become the first PoS blockchain to allow validators to distribute more than one token to delegators to help them maintain network security.
And, to finish the month, Stakely is an official validator in Near Protocol! From January, you will be able to select us as validators in NEAR Wallet to start staking Near. Find out how by following our tutorial, where we explain step by step how to stake Near.
