ATOM delegators as liquidity providers
Hydro Protocol arrives on Cosmos, enabling ATOM delegators to earn additional rewards by providing liquidity while securing the network. Key features include using ATOM in regular staking, a cap of 200 ATOM per wallet, and consistent APR, allowing users to accrue rewards during the lock-up period. The first funding round reached its cap in less than 24 hours, with the second round set to start on December 6.
Gaia v21 update: New rewards and enhanced security
Launched in November, Gaia v21 allows consumer chains to send rewards in up to three different tokens via IBC channels without additional configurations. It also improves cross-chain security with the ICS 6.3.0 update, simplifying reward management and tagging for greater clarity and flexibility.
Reduced congestion and gas fees for users
With the approval of proposal #970, Cosmos Hub increased the MaxBlockUtilization parameter from 30 to 75 million gas units, enabling more transactions per block. This change reduces congestion and adjusts fees more efficiently, significantly enhancing the user experience, especially during periods of high demand.
Osmosis
Osmosis Grant Program awards over $68,000 in grants
The Osmosis Grant Program has launched Batch 27, allocating a total of $68,550 to four selected teams. These funds will drive projects such as creating CosmWasm courses, improving algorithms, and enhancing user support, all aimed at strengthening the Osmosis ecosystem and attracting new developers. Additionally, DataLenses will focus on enhancing features and support, while NeutronGrants will work on improving developer onboarding for the Osmosis network.
Polaris confirms it will not launch a token

Ginger v2 to boost DA performance

Interoperable rollups with ZK technology
Abundance introduces the ABC Stack, a solution leveraging Celestia's infrastructure to create Sovereign Rollups that are interoperable and compatible with ZK technologies.
