Radiant Arena will launch its RAD token on the Sui network, enhancing the user experience with faster speeds and scalability through its partnership with Mysten Labs.
Walrus to drive SUI deflation
By eliminating data in the Walrus system, transaction fees will be distributed among validators, with a portion directed to burning SUI. This will reduce its supply and promote a more sustainable and efficient ecosystem.
Native BTC arrives in DeFi on Sui

Blocks in 6 seconds with Ginger
The Ginger update is improving block generation to 6 seconds, with a performance of 1.33 MB per second and 8 MB blocks on its Arabica testnet. This boosts the capacity to process more transactions and permissionless applications.
Mammothon arrives with $250,000 in prizes
Celestia launches its first Mammothon, a hackathon with $250,000 in prizes, running from February 1 to 28. The event focuses on creating apps and designing on-chain worlds, supported by projects like Eclipse, Encode, and Astria. It also offers mentorship to bring projects to the mainnet, leveraging Celestia’s mammoth blocks.

Skip drives growth for Cosmos Hub
Skip will lead Cosmos Hub with plans to increase liquidity by 100x, starting with a 10x increase in 2025. Updates to the Cosmos SDK, IBC Eureka, and support for virtual machines aim to strengthen its role as an asset bridge and facilitate access for users and projects.
Map of Zone surpasses 100 chains
Map of Zone reveals the activity of over 100 chains via the IBC Protocol, providing detailed tracking of interchain operations. It offers key metrics such as transaction volume and IBC transfers at 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day intervals.
Nomic passes security audit
Nomic has successfully completed a security audit conducted by the firm Trail of Bits. The audit validated the security of funds and resilience against DoS attacks, strengthening Nomic's position as a reliable solution to connect Bitcoin with the IBC Protocol.
Namada activates staking and governance on mainnet
Namada has completed the first phase of its mainnet launch, activating staking and governance. With plans to reach phase 5 in 2025, Namada is making solid progress toward its consolidation.

The Electric Capital report ranks Solana as the top ecosystem for new developers, with 7,625 registered. It also ranks second globally in developer numbers and in key countries such as the U.S., the U.K., Canada, and China.
Solana AI Hackathon: Over $260,000 in prizes
Solana is hosting the AI Hackathon with over $260,000 in prizes, fostering the creation of artificial intelligence agents in six categories: autonomous chat, memes, social and influencers, infrastructure, tokens and DeFi, and trading.
Osmosis
ProtoRev: Osmosis optimizes liquidity and profitability
Osmosis has integrated ProtoRev, an arbitration system developed by Skip Protocol, which:
- Maximizes the efficiency of the community pool by acquiring more Bitcoin, optimizing daily earnings by recovering profits previously captured by external agents.
- Burns 2.2 million OSMO.
- Accumulates daily OSMO, USDC, and ATOM.
Osmosis reduces fees on BTC/USDC and ETH/USDC
The protocol reduces fees to 0.02% on the BTC/USDC and ETH/USDC pairs as a test to analyze its effect on transaction volume and the response of assets to price changes.

The revolution of AI Agents
Injective launches iAgent, an innovative SDK that:
