Collaboration between Stakely and KlimaDAO: Dayingjiang-3 Project
At Stakely and KlimaDAO, we are committed to this important mission. However, it is important to note that carbon offsetting is not the sole solution to addressing climate change, but it is a valuable tool. By combining it with source emission reduction and the adoption of sustainable practices, we can make a real difference in protecting our planet.
As part of our efforts to offset our carbon footprint, we have decided to retire 1,000 BCT (Blockchain Carbon Tokens) through KlimaDAO to directly support the Dayingjiang-3 project.
This is an exciting initiative that utilizes the resources of the Daying River in China to generate clean and renewable electricity. With an installed capacity of 200 MW, this project consists of four 50 MW hydroelectric power generation units.
The main goal is to avoid the burning of fossil fuels in electricity generation, which reduces carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and contributes to the fight against climate change.
