Ethereum
Obol Collective launches its Contributions Program
In August, Ethereum stakers began participating in the Obol Collective Contributions Program, an initiative aimed at retroactively funding improvements to the Ethereum ecosystem. Chorus One, Mellow, and Stakely, with the launch of the Obol Portal, joined as launch partners, showing their confidence in the project and its potential to enhance the experience for all Ethereum ecosystem participants.
EigenLayer introduces rewards for stakers and operators
With its recent update, EigenLayer has started distributing rewards on mainnet. Stakers and operators will receive a share of 4% of the total EIGEN supply for their trust in the network, starting with EigenDA, with other AVS soon to be included.
Optimism
Optimism reverts permissionless fraud proofs. Due to issues detected in their permissionless fraud proofs, Optimism has decided to revert to a permissioned model. Additionally, a hard fork called Granite will take place on September 10 to complete the process and enhance network security.
Sonic
Get your Sonic Shard!
The Sonic network is on the verge of launching, and the Sonic Labs Foundation has rolled out the Road to Sonic campaign. Users can earn Sonic Shards NFTs by completing weekly tasks, and those who collect six shards will be able to combine them to receive a special NFT.
Alchemy Incentive Program
Alchemy has launched its incentive program to help new dApps and developers transition to Sonic, offering up to $5,000 in credits to business projects.
Polkadot
DOT inflation reduced to 5%
As of August 15, Polkadot reduced its DOT token inflation from 10% to 5%. This will affect both nomination and validation rewards, which could lead to long-term sustainability for the ecosystem.
Archway
Validator set reduction in Archway
A series of governance proposals in Archway seek to reduce the number of validators to 40 and lower the emission of the ARCH token, promoting the long-term sustainability of the network. Delegate your ARCH with Stakely to stake with an operator in the active set and continue earning staking rewards!
Cosmos
ICS Launchpad: The future of delegation in Cosmos
Cosmos has introduced Forge, a new interface designed to simplify the interaction between delegators, developers, and validators. This solution will soon be up for debate in the governance forum.
Starknet joins IBC!
This partnership opens the doors to app composability across various L2 and L1 chains, along with interoperability and scalability within the Interchain. This will enable the creation of more robust, efficient, and innovative solutions.

DeepBook launches its incentivized testnet
DeepBook has launched its v3 incentivized testnet, offering users the chance to participate in two weeks of testing and earn rewards of 100,000 DEEP tokens. The announcement of their TGE (Token Generation Event) is also expected soon.
Injective
Expansion of RWAs with Altaris
Injective has launched its Altaris update, which includes the integration of the first RWA (Real World Assets) oracle, opening the ecosystem to new opportunities for dApp developers.
