Developers on Polkadot no longer need to participate in auctions or lock up DOT to create applications. With the introduction of Agile Coretime, it is now possible to purchase resources in advance and negotiate core times in secondary markets. This innovation facilitates continuous development and accelerates the process of launching new apps in the ecosystem. Learn more.

Empowering the community

Polkadot continues to empower its community with the Polkadot Roots initiative, driven by Events Bounty. This initiative provides tools and resources for organizing community meetings, amplifying Polkadot's voice, and fostering collaboration and innovation across the ecosystem.

Enhanced scalability and elasticity

As Polkadot 2.0 approaches, Elastic Scaling is being developed to improve parachain scalability, allowing the use of multiple cores, alongside Agile Coretime and Asyn Backing. These enhancements are crucial to ensuring Polkadot remains a robust and flexible platform for all types of development.
