Stakely joins GenLayer's new validator batch

June 22, 2026

Stakely is joining GenLayer's new validator batch, reinforcing our role as an infrastructure operator in emerging networks with differentiated technical proposals.

GenLayer is building a network focused on Intelligent Contracts, an evolution of traditional smart contracts capable of working with natural language, web data, and non-deterministic operations. At Stakely, we have already explained what GenLayer is and why its Intelligent Contracts introduce a new way to program trust, as well as the launch of Bradbury Testnet to test AI in blockchain consensus.

Now, the focus is on the evolution of its infrastructure: bringing in new validators to help expand, test, and strengthen the network.

For Stakely, joining this new batch is a direct way to support GenLayer where it makes the most sense for us: operating blockchain infrastructure.

Why a new validator batch matters

Opening a new validator batch is a relevant step for a growing network. It is not just about adding more participants, but about expanding the operational base that supports the protocol.

In emerging networks, the validator set is a key part of moving toward a more distributed, resilient infrastructure that is better prepared for higher-activity phases. Each new operator brings technical capacity, infrastructure diversity, and real operational experience.

In GenLayer's case, this is especially important. Its architecture combines blockchain, AI, and consensus mechanisms designed to validate results that are not always purely deterministic. That makes the reliability of the operators participating in the network a central part of its evolution.

The role of validators in GenLayer

GenLayer validators participate in the security, validation, and coordination of the network. Their role is not limited to keeping nodes available: they are also part of the processes that allow Intelligent Contracts to be executed and evaluated within the protocol.

GenLayer introduces a model where validators can participate in deterministic and non-deterministic operations, evaluating results and contributing to the network's consensus. This requires infrastructure prepared for availability, monitoring, and operational response.

For operators like Stakely, this type of network represents a new stage in blockchain infrastructure operations: it is not only about validating blocks or processing transactions, but about supporting architectures that explore new forms of execution, consensus, and onchain coordination.

Stakely's role in GenLayer

Stakely joins GenLayer as a validator, bringing experience in operating blockchain infrastructure across more than 30 networks.

For a network like GenLayer, which is exploring a different way to execute and validate contracts with AI, having technical operators involved from these stages matters. A strong idea is not enough on its own: the network also needs available, monitored infrastructure that can support its growth.

Our participation is not limited to operating a validator. We have also developed a free GenLayer snapshot service, designed to reduce sync times and make the work of other node operators easier.

Ultimately, this is how we believe an ecosystem should be supported: by participating in the network and building useful resources for the teams that help it run.

What comes next

GenLayer continues to develop its infrastructure, builder ecosystem, and operator network. The addition of new validator batches is part of that growth process.

At Stakely, we will continue to follow GenLayer's evolution closely and share relevant updates about its development, architecture, and the opportunities it may open for validators, builders, and users.

If you want to support this work and delegate to an operator actively participating in the ecosystem, you can stake GEN with Stakely.
