You can stake your LITKEY by delegating them to Stakely’s validator infrastructure through the Lit Protocol staking interface.

The Stakely validator on Lit has a commission of 0%. This commission is applied to the staking rewards, not to your staked principal. In practice, this means the commission is taken from the APR, not subtracted from it.

For example, if the network APR is 10% and the validator commission is 5%, the commission represents 5% of the rewards earned, which equals an effective reduction of 0.5% APR. Your final APR would be 9.5%, not 5%.

LITKEY staking is the process of delegating $LITKEY tokens to validators such as Stakely to help secure the Lit Protocol network and earn staking rewards.

As with any staking activity, risks may include slashing or changes in network conditions. Stakely mitigates these risks through robust security measures, institutional-grade operational procedures, and slashing protection insurance.

When you unstake WLITKEY, your tokens are not released immediately. They enter an unbonding period (time lock) before they can be withdrawn. This time lock can range from two weeks to four years, depending on the preferences chosen by each individual staker.
