Evmos (EVMOS) Staking

Install the Keplr Extension for Chrome and create a new account, or import an account from seed, or connect the wallet with your Ledger device (with the Cosmos Ledger App installed and opened). If you are new to the Cosmos ecosystem, Keplr is sort of the Metamask of Cosmos blockchains.

As a network based on Tendermint and compatible with Ethereum and EVM applications, it is possible to use both wallets. In this guide, we will use a Keplr wallet.

First, open your Keplr extension and select the Evmos network of the Keplr wallet by clicking on the network dropdown.
Then, click on Deposit to send your EVMOS tokens to the wallet you have just created.

Head over to the Keplr Dashboard and connect your Keplr Wallet extension. Then, search for Evmos (beta) at the left-side menu, and click on Stake.
You will find Stakely among the available validators to stake. Search Stakely and click on Manage. Next, click on Delegate.
Enter the total amount you want to stake. Always leave 1 token unstaked to pay for future fees. Then, click on Delegate and approve the transaction with the Keplr wallet extension.

Once your delegation has been processed, you will be finally staking EVMOS and earning rewards!

Install the MetaMask extension for Chrome. You can create a new account, import an account from seed, or connect the extension with your Ledger device (with the Metamask Ledger App installed and opened).

First, open your Metamask extension and select the Evmos network by clicking on the network dropdown.
Make sure you have the Evmos network added to your Metamask wallet. For this, go to app.evmos.org or Chainlist and connect your wallet. Search for the Evmos network among the available networks and click on Add to Metamask.
There you will see the address to which you have to send EVMOS.

Head over to the Evmos App and connect your Metamask extension. Then, search for Stakely and click on Manage. Next, click on Delegate.
Enter the total amount you want to stake. Always leave 1 token unstaked to pay for future fees. Then, click on Delegate and approve the transaction with Metamask.

Once your delegation has been processed, you will be finally staking EVMOS and earning rewards! You will be able to manage your staking from the Staking section of the Evmos App.

Download Trust Wallet in the Apple App Store for iOS or in Google Play for Android.

In this tutorial, we will use the Android mobile version. Click on I already have a wallet if you already have one or Create a new wallet to create one from scratch.

Follow the instructions and choose a strong password, store your seed phrase in a safe place and confirm it by putting the words in order.

First, if you don't see EVMOS in your token list, click on Add Tokens and enable the Evmos option. You now have the option to buy EVMOS or deposit EVMOS into your wallet.

To deposit EVMOS, click on Evmos and then on Receive. To copy your address, click on Copy.

To stake EVMOS, click on Evmos and then Stake. Click again on Stake and enter how much EVMOS you want to delegate. Then select Stakely from the list of validators and click Continue to finish.

To manage your delegation, enter Evmos from the home page and click on Stake. From here you can delegate, undelegate, redelegate and claim your EVMOS staking rewards.

Install the Keplr extension for Chrome. You can create a new account, import an account from a seed phrase, or connect the extension with your Ledger device (with the Ledger App installed and opened). If you're new to the Cosmos ecosystem, Keplr is similar to MetaMask for Cosmos blockchains.

To fund your Keplr wallet with EVMOS, open your Keplr wallet extension in your browser. Click on the Buy or Deposit button, depending on whether you want to do.

If you want to buy EVMOS, you can use the payment gateways provided by Kado, Transak, or Moonpay.

If you want to deposit EVMOS from another wallet or exchange, copy the Evmos wallet address from your Keplr wallet. Next, initiate a withdrawal or send transaction and paste the Evmos wallet address as the recipient.

Go to Stride Zone and connect your Keplr Wallet extension. Then, select EVMOS from the networks dropdown next to the APY percentage. Now, enter the amount of EVMOS you want to stake in the Amount to stake box and click Liquid stake.

Once the process summary window appears, click on Start staking. Approve the transaction in your Keplr wallet by clicking Approve and wait for the transaction to be confirmed.

Once confirmed, the Success! window will appear. Finally, you can check your stEVMOS tokens in the dropdown menu of your wallet. Congratulations! From here, you can use your stEVMOS tokens in DeFi products while continuing to generate staking rewards.
