How to stake AVAX with Core Wallet? | Avalanche Staking Guide

SET UP YOUR CORE WALLET

First, install the Core extension in your browser. For added security, connect with a Ledger. To delegate from your mobile, you can download the Core app for iOS and Android.

DEPOSIT AVAX IN CORE

Before starting the staking process, make sure you have at least 25 AVAX to delegate. You can transfer AVAX from another wallet or purchase AVAX directly. Ensure that the funds are on the P Chain (Platform Chain) to proceed with delegation. If your AVAX are on another chain, use the cross-chain transfer option to move them to the P Chain.

DELEGATE YOUR AVAX WITH STAKELY

Once you have AVAX in your Core wallet, navigate to Stake and select the Delegate tab. Here, you can choose the amount of AVAX you wish to delegate and the duration of your staking. To delegate through Stakely, search for our node using our ID:

COMPLETE THE DELEGATION PROCESS

After selecting the Stakely node, set the wallet address where you will receive rewards. Review the summary of the delegation process, including the amount of AVAX delegated, the duration, and the selected node. Complete the process by clicking on Submit Delegation and confirm the transaction in the Core extension.
