How to stake LUNA with Station Wallet? | Terra Staking Guide

INSTALL TERRA STATION WALLET

Install the Terra Station Chrome extension here: Terra Station Wallet. To create a new wallet, click on New wallet, or click on Import to import an existing wallet. You will also be able to connect with Ledger (with the Ledger app open at the same time).

DEPOSIT LUNA IN YOUR WALLET

Open the Terra Station extension, there you will find the address of your wallet. Make sure to send LUNA through the Terra network.

DELEGATE LUNA

Go to Terra Station, find the Stake section in the side menu and select Stakely. Then click Delegate and enter the amount of LUNA you want to delegate. Leave at least 0.1 LUNA available to pay for future transactions. Then click Submit and confirm the transaction.

CONGRATULATIONS!

After a few seconds, your delegate transaction will be processed and you will be staking and earning rewards, congratulations!

You can track your LUNA staking and claim your rewards in the Stake tab in Terra Station.

CREATE OR CONNECT YOUR WALLET

Install the Keplr extension for Chrome. You can create a new account, import an account from a seed phrase, or connect the extension with your Ledger device (with the Ledger App installed and opened). If you're new to the Cosmos ecosystem, Keplr is similar to MetaMask for Cosmos blockchains.

FUND YOUR WALLET WITH LUNA

To fund your Keplr wallet with LUNA, open your Keplr wallet extension in your browser. Click on the Buy or Deposit button, depending on whether you want to do.

If you want to buy LUNA, you can use the payment gateways provided by Kado, Transak, or Moonpay.

If you want to deposit LUNA from another wallet or exchange, copy the Terra wallet address from your Keplr wallet. Next, initiate a withdrawal or send transaction and paste the Terra wallet address as the recipient.

STAKE LUNA USING STRIDE

Go to Stride Zone and connect your Keplr Wallet extension. Then, select LUNA from the networks dropdown next to the APY percentage. Now, enter the amount of LUNA you want to stake in the Amount to stake box and click Liquid stake.

CONFIRM YOUR TRANSACTION AND RECEIVE stLUNA

Once the process summary window appears, click on Start staking. Approve the transaction in your Keplr wallet by clicking Approve and wait for the transaction to be confirmed.

Once confirmed, the Success! window will appear. Finally, you can check your stLUNA tokens in the dropdown menu of your wallet. Congratulations! From here, you can use your stLUNA tokens in DeFi products while continuing to generate staking rewards.
